Around Mississippi: Vicksburg Blues"

Grayson, WLBT-TV
"The Blues Are Back" says Walt. Just
after dark, the cars start claiming the precious
parking places at L.D.'s
Kitchen by the river front, just across from the
Murals in downtown Vicksburg.
People are coming here to hear live blues. The
free crawfish buffet at intermission might be a draw,

"The
Blues Scene 2008 - Vicksburg"
Earnest
McBride, Jackson Advocate
The
music scene is on the verge
of revival there, thanks to the combined
efforts of the Central Mississippi
Blues Society and Larry
D. Prentiss, the sole proprietor of
his now thriving club LD’s Kitchen
along the highly-prized Vicksburg
waterfront.
