Guitarist, singer, harmonica player, and songwriter

The youngest of his father's 28 children, Grady Champion grew up in rural Canton, Mississippi. Raised on a farm, hard work became a way of life for him. Like so many other blues performers, he joined his church choir as an eight-year-old and began singing gospel.

He performed regularly at the 930 Blues Café, and recorded Live at the 930 at that legendary Mississippi juke joint.

In 2010 Grady Champion won the International Blues Challenge, earning him the coveted title as "One of the World's Best Entertainers / Harmonica Players".

He leads one of America's best young blues bands.
